about
Sunday Night Suppers is a free, community meal offered by Park Ridge churches and organizations on Sunday nights. Food insecurity affects many individuals and families in Park Ridge and the surrounding area. Sunday Night Suppers (SNS) exists to provide a space for people to come share a meal, no questions asked.
This community-based hunger program originated with local Park Ridge faith leaders (Park Ridge Ministerial Association) who believed their congregations had the responsibility and passion to serve the needs of vulnerable people in the community. SNS is made possible through the generosity of individual contributions.
Sunday Night Suppers has been located at St. Paul the Cross (2007 - 2013) and St. Luke's Lutheran Church (2013 - 2019). As of September 2019, Sunday Night Suppers is located at Park Ridge Presbyterian Church at the intersection of W. Crescent Ave and Delphia Ave in Park Ridge.
May 18, 2025 will be the last day Sunday Night Suppers is served at Park Ridge Presbyterian Church. Beginning September 7, 2025 meals will be served at First United Methodist Church in Park Ridge.
The next Co-Hosts of Sunday Night Suppers are First United Methodist Church, St. Andrews Lutheran Church and St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
